The Role:
Reliability Engineering position that works collaboratively across multiple levels of the organization and with multi-discipline teams including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Reliability disciplines to drive consistent implementation and execution of organization’s reliability processes and tools. The position will also provide Reliability-focused expertise to improve asset utilization and production efficiency through teamwork, analytical tools, and existing work processes. Scope includes diverse equipment types across GOM Shelf and Deepwater assets as well as land-based gas processing plants and facilities. Position Details: Overview: Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: • Develop close working relationships with stakeholders to guide teams on work processes and investigations that identify and mitigate risks and performance issues affecting reliable and sustainable asset performance. • Use historical operations, reliability and maintenance data in analytical tools and studies to support project teams and the organization on Reliability processes to sustain and improve asset performance. • Provide guidance on RCM studies, equipment PM programs, Operator Routine Duties, Opportunity Identification & Resolution projects and Bad/Worst Actor Reports through the analysis of diverse databases, preventive maintenance results, maintenance practices and costs • Demonstrate fluency in the application and use of Reliability tools and analytical processes, including but not limited to any of the following: Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), streamlined Reliability Centered Maintenance (sRCM), Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) modeling, and/or Life Cycle Cost analysis, Reliability Modeling, Weibull analysis, Reliability Growth Plots, and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBR). • Demonstrate fluency in Continuous Improvement/Quality tools, Robust Engineering, Design of experiments, SPC, Six Sigma, and FMEA • Provide consultation and interpretation on the results from the output of reliability tools and techniques to asset teams • Ensure project reliability expectations are met for major capital projects. • Participate in turnaround planning, investigations during execution, and look-back studies.



Education:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering



Experience:

5-10 years



Preferred Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability processes and use of analytical tools to solve reliability issues. • Proven ability to lead/facilitate and communicate reliability improvement efforts among engineering, operations, maintenance, and reliability disciplines. • Proven ability to anticipate, assist, and respond quickly to upstream business needs that affect safe and reliable operations. • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good relationships with area business teams and demonstrating leadership skills when interacting with business customers and peers. • Demonstrated strong team player. • Proven to work effectively and cooperatively with others. • Demonstrated experience actively sharing knowledge and skills with others. • Proven ability to develop and maintain steady contacts between peers. • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision, self-starting and proactive, and has strong organizational skills. • Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, set realistic goals, and complete commitment on schedule. • Demonstrated strong oral and written
