The Company:
An established oil and gas operator company which is covering exploration and production in the business in Indonesia is looking for "Reporting & Compliance Manager (National Only)"

The Role:
Reporting to the Vice President Commercial and Finance, the Reporting & Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring company's tax reporting and compliance obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner.

• Demonstrated leadership ability and commercial acumen.
• Knowledge of key roles, people and responsibilities within BPMIGAS organisation.
• Extensive knowledge of Indonesian Oil & Gas cost recovery principles and up to date knowledge of PSC Cost Recovery and Taxation regulations
• Extensive experience with Indonesian PSC reporting under BPMIGAS regulation
• Proven ability to interact well with wide variety of industry players and ability to open opportunities mutually beneficial to both parties.
• Ability to think outside the box, leading to win-win negotiating outcomes.
• Ability to quickly assess commercial reports and analysis and make and clearly represent recommendations so made.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally
• Must have fluency in English language, both written and oral.
• Ability to prioritise workflows and meet deadlines
• Proven experience with leading a small team

The successful candidate will lead the Reporting and Compliance Team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A university degree or professional qualification, in accountancy or its equivalent
10-15 years’ experience in the resources sectors, with the immediately prior 5 years being in the oil and gas sector in a Reporting & Compliance role.
MS Office

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Providing technical expertise where necessary for the Company to maintain compliance with all current regulatory requirements, legislation and policy.
• Preparing submissions to, and seeking rulings from, taxation authorities.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the Company’s tax accounting systems.
• Preparing presentations to management on changes to tax law and practice and the implications for the Company
• Lead the Reporting and Compliance team within the Finance and Commercial Team
• Perform all work in a safe manner ensuring your health and safety and that of all other employees
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, reporting and tax compliance requirements on a timely basis
• Maintaining good working relationship with peers and other departments.
• Identify ways of improving systems and processes within your area of responsibility.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by your manager to assist in ensuring the success of the compan
