The Role:
You will join the Technology and Research group and work with multi-disciplinary team integrating reservoir and surface models with the long-standing goal of working to improve hydrocarbon recovery of new discoveries and complex reservoirs.

o Develop methods and workflows for full field development scenario in different asset life time ( Exploration, appraisal, development and production)
o Develop algorithms in close co-operation with software developers
o Lead multi-functional teams in framing, planning, and conducting field and reservoir development plans and asset valuation
o Provide specialized advice for the identification and optimization of field development and production scenarios of Different reservoir types (Sandstone, carbonate, natural fracture, heavy oil, shale gas, gas condensate, etc.).
o Conduct field re-development studies in support of Business Development Group
o Expertise working with optimization models to reduce field development CAPEX & OPEX costs and increase well productivity
o Expertise working with Monte Carlo simulation techniques
o Participate in or lead peer assist of business unit projects/assets
o Evaluate/recommend trials of new reservoir engineering technologies and tools to assess their capabilities, application and compatibility.
o Keeps abreast of technological development in all aspects of reservoir engineering discipline and specifically in, integrated asset assessment, reservoir simulation, phase behavior, and dynamic modeling of complex systems…etc.
o Actively attend conferences, seminars and reviews technical periodicals.
o Draws on the experience of other major oil/gas companies to ensure application of latest reservoir management technology and integrated asset modeling techniques.
o Identifies R&D opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
o Introduces and recommends working systems or standard operating procedures for quality control and standardization. Makes sure these systems are introduced to the Professional Development staff and, if necessary, appropriate training programs are provided.
o Participates in the training and development of staff. This includes monitoring and reporting on progress and counseling employees, as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Academic reservoir, petroleum engineering or related engineering, discipline qualification – PhD or MSc level.
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong level knowledge of most and specialist level knowledge of most important aspects of integrated asset assessments, reservoir management and field development
• Strong working knowledge of industry standard commercial simulators
• Experience leading integrated field assessment technology projects and MDPs.
• Interpersonal effectiveness - Works well with other disciplines and interacts effectively within the project technical teams
• Good communication skills, ensuring attention to details, due diligence, value added, and reliable service.
• Demonstrating forward thinking Leadership
