The Company:
International Oil and Gas Operator

The Role:
The Reservoir Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising engineers,
geologists and production technologists. The primary areas of responsibility of the team will be:
- Surveillance and management of the organizations operated and non-operated producing assets in
North and South America
- Support of larger integrated studies carried out in the Production Development Department
- Evaluation of New Business and acquisition opportunities

Key Responsibilities and Tasks (other duties may be assigned)

 Create and maintain production and injection databases to enable timely provision of forecasts as
requested by the various stakeholders
 Prepare or provide feedback to well proposals, drilling and workover programs
 Create platform for visualization and analysis of production and injection data
 Evaluate well performance and recommend actions for improvement.
 Maximize lifecycle value of producing fields through effective well and reservoir
management (WRM)
 Collaborate with other disciplines to define conceptual and detailed field development scenarios
and understand the range of uncertainties
 Present and discuss reservoir engineering work in peer and stage gate reviews
 Deliver detailed reservoir engineering input for development planning of fields from discoveries
to mature producing assets. This will generally include dynamic modeling, analysis of rock
properties and PVT data, SCAL modeling, pressure transient analysis, material balance and
wellbore/lift curve modeling

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 10-15 years industry experience as a Reservoir Engineer is required
 Enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment
 Have extensive experience with implementation of one or preferably several significant field
development plans, including well planning, completion, artificial lift and stimulation technologies,
downhole formation evaluation and characterization, production surveillance and reservoir
management
 Have experience with preparation of the entire suite of reservoir engineering data for simulation
purposes (e.g. rock mechanical data, SCAL data, PVT data, lift curve generation and Pressure
Transient Analysis)
 Demonstrate recent hands-on experience with black oil/compositional simulation (preferable
Eclipse/Petrel RE) including history matching and uncertainty analysis
 Have experience with various production forecasting methodologies and SPE/SEC compliant

 Perform and/or facilitate valuation of reservoir engineering data during data r
