The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
Reservoir engineering for Company operated in fields of Alaska. Specific roles and responsibilities may include:
•Be an exemplary leader of all safety and environmental practices
•Identify, plan and coordinate field development opportunities, optimize new completion solutions
•Collaborate with geology, production, drilling, and completion engineers to implement drilling opportunities in 2014
•Reservoir studies to identify optimal future development drilling and in-field extension drilling locations, on a team with a 9-well program through 2015
•Reservoir studies to identify and forecast rig and non-rig workover opportunities
•Monitor asset efficiency and optimize production working with commercial and asset team in a dynamic environment
•Year-end reserves estimation and reporting (SMOG), RMS input, annual internal compliance audits and triennial external audits
•Comply with all Federal and State agency reporting requirements, including monthly and annual reports and plans
•Interface with co-owners as well as Federal and State agencies on a variety of issues
•Provide engineering and economic support for business unit initiatives and studies as required. This includes Budget and Long Range plans, AFE origination, running integrated models to forecast compression and surface piping changes, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree in engineering
•Minimum 5 years experience in production engineering and/or reservoir engineering
•Working knowledge of completion principles associated with slightly consolidated sands, and economic evaluation techniques

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering
•Working knowledge in low pressure gas reservoirs, experience with gas fields
•Reservoir modeling and reserves estimation experience
•Possess strong computer skills and competency in standard software programs
•the ability to work well within a small, multi-discipline team in office and field environments
•Good judgment and decision making capabilities
•Strong communication, presentation, teamwork and problem solving skills
•Excellent team player
