The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
• The RE will be part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team. The RE will provide subsurface guidance to the asset team
• The RE will maintain the Dynamic Models for the various reservoirs, performing ongoing history matching, as required.
• The RE will be the key interface with Partners on all subsurface issues.
• As a member of the Europe E&P subsurface team the RE will support colleagues through peer reviews and informal networks, and contribute to knowledge sharing in wider company networks.
• The incumbent may mentor less experienced staff, such as GDPs.
• Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. In addition to any specific accountabilities for HSSE, all employees and contractors are accountable for ensuring that they take care of themselves and adopt exemplary safety behaviours
• All employees and contractors must adhere to the Business Principles at all times under Conduct, Our People, Society and HSSE and to participate in relevant training

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• MSc or BSc equivalent qualification in reservoir engineering
• Experience from operations
• Expert user in key reservoir engineering software.
• It is important that the RE has the necessary technical and personal credibility to influence the day-to-day running of the asset.
• Confident user of established reservoir engineering specific work-streams
• Have excellent problem-solving abilities and a good eye for detail
• Good communication skills and able to work effectively across different cultures
• Have excellent team working skills, as well as an ability to interface effectively with other subsurface disciplines and external contractors
• Has the ability to engage, influence and energise a wide range of stakeholders on the business benefits of technology applications in area of expertise
• Excellent presentation skills and clear and convincing report writing ability
• Be able to produce work of a high standard, generating holistic and technically sound geological inte
