The Role:
• Managing relationships with the operator to provide both support and challenge on all subsurface activities (model building, data acquisition, infill drilling locations and
reservoir simulation)
• Responsible for taking subsurface activities through our client’s assurance process
• Formulating an independent view of development plans and making subsurface recommendations to maximize value from the Hub
• Integrate with drilling, projects and commercial team members to ensure activities are effectively co-ordinated across the asset
• Represents our client at the operator subsurface committee meetings
• Provide timely and high quality contributions to internal reporting and management presentations as required
• Provide inputs to financial approval submissions
• Identifies sub-surface risks, and formulates risk register and mitigation plans
• A member of the OBO asset team, contribute to the efficient delivery of overall team targets and contributing to the overall delivery of the Europe E&P Business Plan
• Provide support to business activities within the Europe E&P
• Promote knowledge HPHT technology transfer within the Europe E&P organisation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of North Sea basins
• Experience of the key skills and behaviours required to effectively influence and support the operator and other partners within the Europe E&P OBO portfolio
• Proven ability to work within multi-disciplined teams to deliver the desired business outcomes
• Experience of all phases of the developments process
• Proven capability in effectively presenting their work both internally and external
• Educated to first degree level preferred and relevant post-graduate qualification in Petroleum Engineering.
