The Company:
A Large Operator

The Role:
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team engaged in the management of two non-operated projects in the emerging Lower Tertiary trend in the deep-water GOM. One is in the select phase and the other is in the production/execution phase.
Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models
Manage the subsurface team to collaboratively, develop and assure subsurface work plans,
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Provide feedback to well proposals, drilling and work over programs.
Maximize lifecycle value for the fields through effective well, facility and reservoir management practices.
Drive surveillance, production forecasting and production reporting processes and tools
Reserves and resources evaluator

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education at MSc level or appropriate experience
More than 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering preferably with an operator
DW and GOM
Solid background in the ‘classical’ reservoir engineering and recover mechanisms is expected
Experience in reservoir simulation, developing/editing/maintaining of dynamic models, range of uncertainties and history matching, preferably directly related to deep water field development activity.
Experience with well planning, well, reservoir and facility management and forecasting
Strong initiative, high level analytical skills and ability to multitask
Successful candidates will be self-starters, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment
Fluent in written and spoken technical English
