The Company:
Our client is one of Australias largest oil and gas producers committed to meet the worlds energy needs. The opportunity has arisen for a Resettlement Implementation Team Member to join the Land & Community Affairs team based in Hides, Papua New Guinea on a four week on four week off rotation.

The Role:
• To conduct disclosure, consultation and negotiation activities in accordance with the Resettlement Policy Framework and Resettlement Action Plans.
• Carry out community and household disclosure and agreement meetings.
• Undertake negotiation of household resettlement agreements and finalise options selected by each household.
• Work with households and resettlement support services to implement the package for each household. This includes rations delivery, provision of compensation advice, undertaking valuations and provision of housing support.
• Undertake sign off of improvements compensation agreements, working the Census and Survey Team, RIT Compensation and Land & Community Affairs.
• Assist with the delivery of compensation and assistance payments in association with Resettlement Compensation, Land & Community Affairs and Security.
• Ensure effective handover prior to exit from Nogoli. This will include brief handover notes (using the Resettlement Hand Over Note format), a report of activities and completed valuations and issues, handover of all relevant electronic files.
• Discuss required tasks for current roster with supervisor (position report to) on entry. This discussion will define a terms of reference (ToR)/list of tasks to complete for each roster.
• Report achievements and issues against tasks regularly to supervisor
• Actively participate in all team organised meetings.
• Report any safety and security incidents to supervisor immediately as they occur.
