The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
• Coordinates with ISCT Leads/Managers to update and control the staffing plan.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Focal point for all organization plans and reporting.
• Owner of the ISCT staffing database.
• Maintain organization charts.
• Monthly change log updates and submission.
• New hire forecasting, tracking and requesting, including work orders and amendments.
• Control/create job descriptions.
• Review Primavera data (provided by Planning Team) with Leads and input reviewed data into ISCT staffing plan.
• Coordinate with Contractor weekly to request manning per approved staffing plan.
• Produce staffing reports for management review detailing forecasts and actuals against estimate baseline.
• Use staffing plan to extract long-term camp forecast.
• Contribute staffing detail to ISCT budget estimates; compile/format packages.
• Ensure timesheet WBS codes are being used in alignment with staffing plan; provide timewriting guidance/instructions to hatted contractors.
• Provide monthly WIP figures to Cost Specialist.
• Process development including process flow diagrams.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role with project controls/cost control/organizational planning exposure within an oil and gas environment.
• Diploma in Business or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite of programs, specifically Access, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Kearl experience would be an asset.
