The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil & Gas company.

The Role:
• The APP Resource Report Coordinator provides support for the project by development, coordination, and/or consultation of systematic processes to complete the development and submittal of the draft and final versions of the eleven FERC Resource Reports (Environmental Report) required as a major component of the FERC 7c application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. They work with Project Team groups and contractor(s) on establishing and maintaining Resource Report related processes, and they verify that the project is meeting goals and objectives by independent assessment of contractor and asset team performance.

Resource Report Development and Review:
• Oversee/work with Environmental & Regulatory Support Services (ERSS) and their subcontractor (Merjent) to develop project FERC Resource Reports
• Facilitate the sequential APP review and approval process for all Resource Reports
• Manage the production, submittal, and distribution process for the Reports
• Assure clear definition of information needs involving multifunctional collaboration to address
• Assure identification and tracking of issues and commitments during the drafting process
• Work with Merjent and POCs to develop resolution plans for the issues
• Steward Resource Report progress to the Management (Core) Team

Interface Management:
• Facilitate POC, Core Team meetings, support Steering Team meeting process and deliverables
• Interface with POCs, Permitting Planning Advisor, and EIS Project Manager on an ongoing basis
• Perform periodic on-site monitoring of activities
• Coordinate interface with Canadian ERL on each report to assure consistency in content and commitments as necessary
• Oversight of GIS/data management and transfer (including Argonne National Laboratory interface)


This position will include travel to Calgary, Anchorage, and Minneapolis. Post-filing (2013) travel may also include Chicago.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• 5+ years direct contract experience
• Knowledge of FERC Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) application requirements, including the FERC's Pre-filing Process, Resource Reports
• Knowledge of environmental mitigation measures
• Knowledge of environmental and regulatory management processes and tools
• Strong coordination, interpersonal, problem solving and leadership skills (able to manage experienced project leads)
• Demonstrated interest and commitment to providing practical and effective environmental support to line management

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

This position will include travel to Calgary, Anchorage, and Minneapolis. Post-filing (2013) travel may also include Chicago.
