The Role:
• Work closely with the UK HR, Corporate Communications, Recruitment, and Employee services teams to contribute to and implement the UK HR strategy to the UK employed business in Aberdeen.
• Contribute, own and implement the retention elements of the HR Strategy In line with the Territory and Global HR strategy.
• Ensures that the retention related UK HR policies, processes and systems in place are qualitative and accurate.
• Conduct new start interviews with new staff and contract personnel to understand the on boarding process and suggest any necessary enhancements to candidate management and employer branding.
• Develop and manage the business social networking site profiles to attract candidates to the org and liaise with Recruitment team. Support Recruitment team to make the best use of individual profiles to network and attract future talent.
• Continual developmental work of the org's careers page in conjunction with other territories to ensure that it is attractive to potential candidates, easy to use and up to date with company information and current vacancies
• Research all newspapers/professional journals/job boards/radio and TV and other media sources to establish readership, distribution, costs and sizes of adverts. Establish contacts and develop relationships with main contacts to encourage best possible deals and prices to the org
• Assist in leading advertising campaigns and advise Hiring Managers and Recruiters on suitable media sources and costs. Create adverts, copy writing and proof reading. Liaise with Communications department for suitable imagery
• Develop and implement a first class employer brand and employee value proposition

It is essential that candidate have a degree related to either Marketing/PR or Human Resources
Continuing Professional Development:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate their CPD log or portfolio of work relating to their Marketing / PR or Recruitment Advertising/Branding experience

Skills

Technical (including IT):
It is essential that candidates can confidently use social networking sites to promote the company brand and use for recruitment advertising such as; Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook etc. Candidates must also be competent in the use of all Microsoft Office Packages.
Interpersonal:
It is essential that candidates have a team working ethic as there are several interfaces involved in this role. Candidates must present themselves in a professional manner and feel confident with interfacing with Senior Management.
