The Company:
Our client specialise in the design, manufacture, assembly, test, installation and commissioning of bespoke solutions for the nuclear decommissioning, defence, and nuclear new build markets.

The Role:
The client is looking for a range of senior levels of Mechanical Engineers including Responsible Engineer:

- Co-ordinate and manage all engineering activities on allocated projects or part projects as required
- Leading discussions with internal and external customers and suppliers in order to ensure that programmes are delivered to specification, cost and time.
- The Mechanical Engineers will supervise small multi disciplined teams to achieve project deliverables.
- Writing comprehensive reports, proposals or recommendations for checking and approval by the supervisor and may support the supervisor in any technical discussions with outside bodies or customers.
- Overall responsibility of design team and lead engineer

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or HNC as a minimum
- Nuclear experience is preferred although not essential.

Candidates without experience in the nuclear industry will be required to have relevant transferrable skills. This could include the design of the following:
- Special Purpose Machinery
- Bulk Handling Equipment
- Mechanical Handling Equipment
- Materials Handling Equipment
- Bespoke Equipment / Machines
- Conveyors
- Large / Heavy Engineering
- Crane Design
- Lifting Equipment
