The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Fircroft have been asked to source a RO Treatment Specialist to provide technical support to the reverse osmosis infrastructure and facilitate the transfer between construction and operations.

• Work for the LNG project owner
• Brisbane based role, with occassional site visits
• Permanent staff opportunity

The RO Treatment Specialist will be responsible for the operation optimisation of related infrastructure including the control logic, operational model and maintenance approach. Working for the project owner you will liaise with relevant internal and external parties to ensure the water infrastructure project is developed and implemented to the highest standards.

Typically, the incumbent will support all areas of the water asset development whilst focusing on the reverse osmosis infrastructure, liaising with both personnel at site and in Brisbane.

• Facilitate and improve the handover process to operations
• Support the development of portable RO treatment systems
• Identify and manage all project interfaces and relationships with partners and key stakeholders
• Obtain permit authorisation with input from other stakeholders such as land management and cultural heritage etc
• Secure a budget and report against cost plans

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent years experience
• Comprehensive reverse osmosis experience gained across design, engineering, project management and operational functions
• Experience in the commissioning of water infrastructure projects in the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in a leadership role during commercial negotiations

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered Member of a relevant engineering institution
• Experience working on Coal Seam Gas or Coal Bed Methane projects
