The Company:
Our client has been established for over 20 years locally and is focused on delivering design solutions to the nuclear industry, specialising in the design of mechanical handling plant and equipment, the design and installation of plant control systems and the provision of support to plant safety reviews.

The Role:
Will operate as a member of the EC&I Department under the general direction of the EC&I Manager.

Must have previous exposure to Nuclear projects and be proficient in the use of REVIT

Reporting directly to the Lead EC&I Engineer for BEPPS & DIF, the successful candidate will join a team comprising senior engineers and designers. As a member of the team he/she will be required to provide support to the ongoing EC&I installation design and will use REVIT as design support tool to the project.

The candidate must have a track record of REVIT modelling from basic information and be familiar with REVIT version control and general administrative functions. They must have a good knowledge of electrical installation design within REVIT, in particular cable tray layouts and cable routing, plus the incorporation of electrical control panels and junction boxes. The candidate must be able to link REVIT components to a database/spread-sheet to import and export information.

The candidate will need to be PC literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Liaison with other team members working on the same or associated system designs will be vital. The role may also require communication with the both the engineering teams in various disciplines.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Electrical engineering qualification and spent a number of years in the design, installation and commissioning of plant installations within a civil nuclear or similarly regulated environment. Some of this time will have been spent gaining an understanding of the quality processes and constraints that exist in a regulated sector.
