The Company:
Our client is the world's largest exploration and production company with operations in over 29 countries. In Australia our client is leading the way in both upstream and downstream oil and gas projects with further development projects in the pipeline.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Risk & Reporting Coordinator to join a leading oil and gas operator here in Perth. This position will see you responsible for facilities risk coordination and project reporting, throughout the planning and execution phases of multiple field developments. This will include coordinating project risk management activities such as project information gathering and reporting, along with providing your expertise on PIMS modules and workflows.

Main key accountabilities/responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
Lead and facilitate regular forums and workshops in Perth to ensure that risks are identified, communicated, understood and reported and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and managed.
Develop and maintain the projects risk register and ensure consistency, quality and accuracy of risk descriptions in the risk register.
Coordinate preparation and distribution of weekly and monthly progress status reports.
Instruct project staff in risk management/mitigation principles, act as first point of contact for the project team.
Conduct and facilitate monthly risk management meetings with project management and key discipline staff.
Coordinate annual Quantitative Risk Assessment sessions with Risk Specialist.
Develop and maintain project visibility room and other displays of project information.
Ensure that the timing and flow of key project information and decisions across all project groups is maintained and facilitates successful project outcomes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years engineering / cost / planning / project control systems experience in major oil and gas projects, preferably with offshore experience.
Effective communication skills and ability to develop and present management reports at all levels.
Familiar with the use of proprietary and custom computer software systems used for project management
Analytical / technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience of working in a facilitation role and/or a project risk management role.
