The Role:
The general objective is to implement and maintain a risk asessment system to identify and track project risks and associated mitigation actions to turn identified risk to an accceptable risk level.
Coordinate and animate risk assessment meetings with contractors, Lot teams and Functional teams during the EPC phase of the project. She/he will update risk registers, follow-up and expedite the mitigating actions and produce relevant overview documents

The job consists of managing the continuous Risk Assessment exercise for the whole OPTARA project. To this respect she/he will be responsible for performing the exercises together with the stake holders by going through the different steps of the process: identification of risks, evaluation of the risks, looking for and follow-up of the mitigating actions and making the subsequent reporting.

The person in charge shall have a very strong experience in construction and commissioning of refining project in running facilities; thus a strong experience in interfaces and interferences issues.

Co-ordination and organization of periodic risk assessment by meetings with the contractors, project Lots and Functional teams.
Regularly updating of the Risk Registers (RR). They contain the descriptions of the risks, the calculation of their importance, the mitigating actions (and their details) and the residual risk evaluations. Each group has his Risk Register.
Conversion of the contractor RR into the regular project format.
The consolidation of the RRs of the different groups.
Follow-up and monitoring of the mitigating actions.
Programming status overviews and issuing reports.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree Engineer.
At least 5 years of professional experience in oil refining construction projects in running refineries.
Fluent in communication – A team player – Good relational – Conversable on MS Excel and Word.
Fluent in Dutch desirable.
