The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Risk Based Inspection Engineer to join a world class engineering company. This role will see you become an integral part of a team developing inspection plans using RBI principles.

Specific Accountabilities

· To collect, collate and review Client data for the various process and utility systems on the Client’s facilities
· Identify credible potential degradation mechanisms (PDM), based on materials of construction and process conditions; determine the risk associated with each PDM
· To utilise the Client’s RBI software, Meridium, as a tool for developing risk-based inspection and corrosion monitoring programmes
· To facilitate RBI Workshops as required
· Write reports summarising the scope, the analysis results, the conclusions and recommendations of each of the systems studied.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, the candidate will be degree qualified with at least 10 years relevant experience in the following key areas:

· RBI methodologies and Integrity Management planning, including experience as a Facilitator
· Inspection of plant and equipment within the oil and gas industry, and in particular LNG processing
· Knowledge of material selection and material properties, corrosion mechanisms and other failure mechanisms, corrosion mitigation techniques, chemical treatment and corrosion monitoring methods
· Experience in both Offshore and Onshore facilities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work as part of a team

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates without a degree qualification may be considered if they can demonstrate at least 15 years of experience in the area of integrity management and allied fields with a track record of delivering risk-based inspection programmes in an oil and gas environment.

Degree-qualified candidates with less experience (5-7 years), but still within an Oil and Gas RBI environment, may be considered at the Engineer level.
