The Role:

•• Implement tools and methodologies of Industrial Risk Management, in order to properly address the risk decision making process associated with Project/Proposal that could impact on Company results and pro tempore risk profile;
• Assist the Project Manager for the application of Project Risk Management, ensuring that appropriate strategies are planned well ahead of the risk occurrence and reducing the incidence of surprises;
• Set the Risk Management Plan applicable for the Project, describing the organization, tools, meetings and documentation associated with the proper management of the methodology;
• Facilitate the Project team for the identification/assessment of risks and the implementation of suitable and appropriate risk response plans and mitigation actions;
• Organize and coordinate the risk assessment/risk review meetings;
• Expedite the risk owners collecting information, in order to ensure that risks are monitored and mitigation actions are implemented;
• Keep alive the Risk Register, with the information collected by the Project and maintain the pertinent Database updated;
• Ensure an effective consolidation of risks evaluation within Project and Company economic data, also using Monte Carlo methodology;
• Provide the Project Manager with all information needed in the risk sections of the Project Status Report (register, impacts, indexes, Monte Carlo results,..);
• Ensure that the adequate reporting of risks reflects the pro tempore risk profile of the Project, advising the Project Manager on all matters relating the project risk management;
• Provide the Industrial Risk Management Function with the risk analysis feedback data, to be used for Corporate analysis, integration and reporting;
• Spread awareness of Project Risk Management, in order to enhance maturity and full accountability for risk identification, disclosure and treatment tasks, including emphasis on Golden Rules compliance;
• Promote the application and updating of Golden Rules to reflect Company risk tolerance, ensuring highlighting of trends;
• Capitalize acquired experiences and know-how and share them across Saipem companies;
• Monitor the progress of the International Standards and Best Practices in Risk Management to keep the Commercial Management abreast with the evolution of the global business/regulatory expectations by the Clients;
• Provide induction training on risk management methodology and facilitation for Company Project resources, specifically for Contract managers, Proposal Manager, Project Manager, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Higher education (Engineering or Economics-Business Degree);
Work Experience:4-5 years of experience in Risk Management preferably in Oil & Gas projects;
Knowledge of Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (fluent both written and spoken)
Other skills: Target oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, planning and analysis capabilities, knowledge or previous experience in Oil & Gas projects, engaged in professional growth and continuous improvement.
Availability to work abroad / short-medium term mission in order to follow the project activities locally.
