The Company:
Our Client has operations in the world's most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The company also has interests in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, the Netherlands and Norway. The client is the largest private producer of oil in Kazakhstan and the top O&G producer in Thailand.

The Role:
The Risk Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the project's Risk Management Plan, specifically, to facilitate the identification, mitigation, management, and closeout of project risks, mitigation plans, and action items. Primary duties include: a) maintain the project's Risk Registers using the Risk & Interface Management System (RIMS) tool, b) assists and/or leads risk identification workshops, c) coordinates with various groups in the mitigation and update of project risks, d) assists or leads the project in the development of mitigation and/or action plans, e) prepares status report of project risks and actions plans for reporting to project leadership team (PLT); conducts an analysis of the risks, and delivers presentations related to the project risks and risk management plan, f) conducts training and guidance to team members in the implementation of risk management tools, i.e. use of RIMS.

Successful candidate may be required to travel to Aberdeen periodically. Business travel during assignment period will be fully reimbursed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or Certificate in engineering subject(s) or similar.
5+ years experience in oil & gas industry. Experience with project management and execution activities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) across different job levels within the organization
Excellent organization skills and ability to effectively multi-task
Excellent facilitation skills; lead workshops and meetings
Microsoft office suite of applications, particularly Excel
