The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the client's financial risk.
1. Manage the client’s financial exposure related to foreign exchange rates, interest rates and financial market volatility per approved policies.
2. Develop financial risk management tools and practices to analyse and report on financial market risks and to manage risks according to a financial risk management framework and relevant policies.
3. Ensure the organization's financial risk management policies, limits, and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the client.
4. Manage the client’s liquidity level effectively to ensure adequate investment of capital and an appropriate return on liquid accounts.
5. Optimize the client’s financial portfolio by maximizing the risk/return equation through strategic investments.
6. Provide consultation and advice to the client’s Management committee on important ventures, mergers or acquisitions.
7. Develop forecasts and models to simulate the impact of significant changes in the financial environment.
8. Provide market insights and forecasts to various functions and levels of the client.
9. Ensure the organization's financial risk management policies, limits, and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the client.
10. Provide any necessary legal disclosures to government agencies or other client departments.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related field.
• Master in Business Administration is preferred.
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACII, PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional), GARP-FRM (Financial Risk Manager), CERM (Certified Enterprise Risk Manager) or ARM is desired.
• Proficient in English and Arabic is preferred.
