The Role:
You will be working in the Finance department undertaking the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor Sadara's financial risk. For this position you need to have an extensive knowledge of precious metals.


• Manage Sadara’s financial exposures related to foreign exchange rates, interest rates and financial market volatility per approved policies.
• Develop financial risk management tools and practices to analyse and report on financial market risks and to manage risks according to a financial risk management framework and relevant policies.
• Ensure the organization's financial risk management policies, limits, and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of Sadara.
• Develop forecasts and models to simulate the impact of significant changes in the financial environment.
• Provide market insights and forecasts to various functions and levels of Sadara.
• Provide any necessary legal disclosures to government agencies or other Sadara departments.
• Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Managerial Duties:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by Division staff.
• Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Sadara’s policies and procedures.
• Assess the current skill set of employees and identify the need for development programs.
• Motivate, coach, develop and support respective employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related field.
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACII, PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional), GARP-FRM (Financial Risk Manager), CERM (Certified Enterprise Risk Manager) or ARM
• Proficient in English and Arabic
• Kingdom of Saudi Arabia risk management and insurance experience required.
