The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Rock Load-Out Client Representative to be a member of a Perth based multifunctional project team responsible for subsea equipment and pipelines procurement, construction and installation activities associated with the project Upstream development.

Client representative work directly with the Upstream Secondary Stabilisation Construction Contractor and the Company Secondary Stabilisation PIC and Construction Coordinator to oversee day to day construction activities and related issues for the Rock Production, Transportation and Load-Out scope of work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participates in scope related Constructability and HAZID workshops
• Champions IIF culture on the worksites
• Ensures Contractor performs the required activities in accordance with the relevant safety rules, regulations, procedures, task plans, JHA’s etc. and where necessary exercises the stop work authority to prevent incidents and injury
• Ensures and checks Contractor performs the required activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)
• Participate as required in Contractor Supervisors On-boarding Workshops prior to mobilisation in field.
• Reports progress for Contractors Scope of Work and Schedule
• Assist the PIC and Construction Coordinator in preparing reports, instructions, and documentation
• Reports opportunities / problems, options and suggested resolutions to site issues
• Ensures activities are executed in accordance with approved documentation including drawings, specifications, management plans and procedures
• Oversee contractor performance and required deliverables (HES, quality, cost, schedule and associated documentation)
• Prepares presentations, provides site tours for visitors, delivers or attends Contractor Pre-Start, toolbox talks and represents the Company as required
• Stands in for the Company Secondary Stabilisation PIC as required. An additional responsibility is supporting project wide safety initiatives including development and implementation of an Incident & Injury free (IIF) culture and safety management planning. Maintain positive and effective working relationship with other Wheatstone upstream work teams and contractors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10 Years minimum in civil construction and management with at least 2 years experience in rock production, transportation and Load-out projects in the oil / gas industry.

Preferred Skills:
In depth knowledge of rock production and load-out equipment and methodologies related to Production and Load-out operations and in particular associated with oil and gas activities.
In-depth knowledge of OHS and DMP regulations for safe working in civil and mines environments is essential.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, ability to achieve milestones and work collaboratively within a team.

Certification: Recognised Civil Engineering qualification and/or relevant project experience
Additional Comments: Position is required for 12 months, in the project Upstream Subsea Team, located in Dampier/Roebourne, working a 11 hour day, 28/28 rotation.
