The Role:
• The Rotating Equipment Engineer will provide expertise to support design of Rotating Equipment for the Company’s Expansion Project (TEP). The role will provide guidance of Rotating Equipment design for the onshore facilities for all FEL stages and will follow the project through to commissioning and startup.

Key accountabilities
• Reports to the Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer.
• Responsible for oversight of design within the Rotating Equipment discipline area to oversee and manage the execution of the FEED and EPC portions of the TEP.
• Confirms EPMS and EPC Engineering scopes necessary to support the objectives established in the Project Statement of Requirements and Basis of Design.
• Manages the day to day delivery of engineering deliverables by the EPMS and EPC Contractors.
• Identifies any specialist studies necessary within the Rotating Equipment discipline area.
• Contributes to development of junior Rotating Equipment discipline engineers from Challenge through eXcellence.
• Contributes to development of key design documents such as Basis of Design, Engineering Philosophies, specifications and data sheets within the Rotating Equipment discipline are developed and verified as being consistent with industry practice, ETP requirements as necessary and in support of the project objectives including safe design and quality build. This includes ensuring that the whole life cycle costing approach is used in cost-based decisions (e.g. material and equipment selection).
• Ensure that the correct ETPs in the Rotating Equipment discipline area are applied to the project, and that the criteria of the ETPs are incorporated into project documentation such as specifications, philosophies and vendor bid documents. Ensures that any deviations to ETP 'Shall' statements are processed through the TEP Engineering Team Leader and Company’s Engineering Technical Authorities.
• Ensure that key documents required for all project audits and reviews including EDR/PHSSER Reviews are in place and that actions arising from all audits are tracked and closed out.
• Ensure that relevant lessons learned identified as applicable to TEP in the Rotating Equipment discipline area are reviewed and applied to the project. Also ensure that lessons learned during the execution of TEP are recorded as part of the ETP Shared Learning System..
• Ensure that for the Rotating Equipment discipline area there is a comprehensive list of clearly defined deliverables which will be developed by all third party engineering contractors working on TEP. This applies to all phases of the TEP project.
• Ensure that for the Rotating Equipment discipline area all engineering contractors have put in place a sufficient amount people with the necessary competence to execute on the design outlined in key Company’s design documents.
• Ensure that within the Rotating Equipment discipline area the appropriate regulations and industry standards and, if applicable, local standards are considered and adhered to.
• Ensure that the MOC procedure is being followed in the disciplines' area and that safety / cost / schedule / life cycle costs are being considered in the execution of the process.
• Ensure that appropriate reviews and audits are accomplished to assure quality of engineering deliverables within the project. Understand the role of the discipline in delivery of the Project Quality Plan.
• Timely resolution of all significant Rotating Equipment issues.
• Provide technical input for Rotating Equipment discipline into procurement of long lead equipment items .
• Liaise with Company’s Subject Matter Experts and Technical Authorities where appropriate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Essential experience and job requirements
• 10 -15 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry
• Professional status • Extensive experience working on rotating equipment systems.
• Turbine and compressor experience.
• Mechanical seal troubleshooting experience
• Reliability engineering experience.
• Conceptual Engineering Study (Select/pre-FEED)
• Front End and Detailed Engineering Design (FEED & EPC)
• LNG / Offshore Production Systems Design Experience
• Commissioning and Startup
• Experience working for a petrochemical company or refinery.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
• Hold Indonesian Citizenship
