The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and Gas Operator and has operations through-out the world.

The Role:
The Rotating Equipment Engineer will play a key role in defining, maintaining and improving the safety and availability of rotating equipment systems for the asset.

• Provide day-to-day discipline technical support and obtain additional functional specialist support where required.
• Performance manage the maintenance, reliability and integrity activities of non business-critical rotating equipment.
• Liaise with equipment vendors in the delivery of emergent maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure failures and defects are recorded, assessed and highlighted to asset management.
• Drive a Continuous Improvement agenda in support of high reliability; complete root cause of failure analysis and develop solutions to eliminate defects and prevent recurrence.
• Support others to refine and optimise rotating equipment maintenance exploiting the best available technology.
• Support delivery of safety, integrity, environmental performance of asset and pro-actively managing inspection programmes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering.
• Extensive experience working on rotating equipment systems including turbines and compressors.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and reliability engineering experience.
• Experience working for a petrochemical company or at a refinery.
