The Company:
Our Client is an international heavyweight Oil & Gas Operator, currently involved in many largescale projects in the MENA area.

The Role:

• Responsible for generation of major Oil fields monthly CPL KPI and works with the CPL SAP Support lead to identify RtP process improvement opportunities.
• Works with the CPL Support lead to implement RtP improvement projects and initiatives for Oil field.
• Responsible for operating and monitoring Oil fields RtP controls as specified in the Business Controls Matrix (BCM).
• Provide RtP user training and process support for Oil field users.
• As SAP reporting focal point, handle generation of needed RtP reports (ie. monthly contract spend, turn-around-time/iPortal reports and other ad-hoc report which may be required).
• Comply with company HSSE Policy and the 12 Lifesaving Rules.
• Ensure business ethics are maintained to the highest level and ensure compliance with the Client Group Statement of General Business Principles
• Work closely with CPL SAP Support Lead and CPL Business Process Lead (Governance and Assurance Manager) to identify opportunities for business process improvements aligned with Group RTP Big Rules.
• Work closely with CPL SAP Support Lead to develop, deploy and embed sustainable process improvements.
• Support the business in achieving Group and Local KPI targets for RtP and Materials Management processes.
• Generate monthly (by 10th of each month) the CPL SIPD KPIs package, incl. SIPD RtP Dashboard, POT and non-compliance stats – as per the templates.
• Provide necessary ad-hoc CPL/RtP metrics (upon prior consent of CPL SAP Support Lead).
• Ensure the Contracts Procurement and Logistics (CPL) Business Controls Matrix is maintained to address all CPL business process risks for SIPD.
• Ensure required Controls are agreed, assigned, deployed and executed as defined in the SIPD Business Controls Matrix, working closely with SIPD Finance Controller and CP Business Process Lead (CP Governance and Assurance Manager).
• Ensure the assigned responsible person(s) take action to execute their controls actions on a timely basis to address any controls compliance issues identified.
• Carry out sample audits to verify responsible parties are managing their controls responsibilities as agreed and retaining appropriate records/audit trail to support this.
• Ensure compliance with the applicable SIPD RtP / SAP controls; execution and expediting of the corresponding reports; monitoring and escalation of non-compliance and discrepancies
• Timely preparation and validation (or receipt and validation) as well as related action expediting for the following reports based on agreed frequency:

o Unreleased PRs
o Unreleased OAs
o Unreleased POs
o Unreleased SEs
o PR to PO conversion
o PR to PO price difference (upon receipt of the report from SBSC MLA)
o Other – scope and frequency as defined in the SIPD RtP Controls Register

• Report on a monthly basis to the CPL SAP Support Lead on all incidents and corrective actions taken. May require further involvement of/work with Finance Controller and CP Business Process Lead (CP Governance and Assurance Manager). Keeping records of associated follow-up actions and track of corrective measures taken.
• Work closely with SBSC teams to maintain alignment between SIPD Business Controls Matrix and Shell Group Controls.
• Maintain the CP Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for SIPD.
• Work with CP SAP Support Lead to ensure Business Process Procedures, Business Process Flows and training materials for CPL processes are complete and reflect current SIPD BLP design and policy.
• Adopt and adapt existing SAP Blueprint training materials to support training of CPL users on SIPD RtP and MRD processes/requirements; prepare necessary QRGs.
• Create and maintain SIPD RtP own space on LL / Sharepoint and ensure correct and up-to-date RtP information and training materials are available for end users.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc PR and SE approval trainings to SIPD end users.
• Provide CPL team and other business users with support on effective use of BW reports to effectively manage their activities and monitor process effectiveness against agreed KPI’s and target, incl. necessary regular and ad-hoc CPL BW trainings.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc general SAP navigation/analysis trainings to SIPD end users.
• Perform PR and SE/iPortal approvals on behalf of SIPD approvers defined in SIPD MoA in exceptional cases based on their explicit e-mail authorization.
• Support SBSC MLA in revoking and re-approving SEs in SAP for Credit Note adjustments based on iPortal approval by the responsible SE Approver defined in SIPD MoA.
• Part of a small multi-cultural team supporting diverse users (Client/Contractor) based in different geographic locations
• Possess the ability to convey SAP technical details to non-SAP literate client and Contractor staff in a way that they can clearly understand and relate to their responsibilities and activities.
• Able to deal with and safeguard commercially confidential information.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A procurement professional with good commercial skills and at least 3 years relevant experience, preferably in the in the oil & gas industry. Preferably holding a degree, however extensive relevant experience would be acceptable.
• Commercial experience in Corporate services area (Finance, HR, External Affairs). Technical and contract engineering disciplines and working on Construction projects would be an advantage.
• Excellent SAP-MM and PM/PS skills. Knowledge of related SAP Accounts Payable area would be an advantage.
• Understanding of financial, commercial and technical controls that apply across the Contracting and Procurement process.
• Self motivated team player with excellent communication skills to work within a diverse team on a challenging project located in different geographical areas (Dubai, Sharjah, Basra, Manila, Chennai).
• Excellent computer literacy skills
• Required immediately.
• Candidates who are Local (Dubai) based will be preferred.
