The Company:
Our client, a major Oil & Gas owner/operator, is seeking expertise for their mega projects in Alberta

The Role:
Principal Tasks:

Reporting to the Sr. Safety Specialist, the Safety Admin Support is accountable for managing the contractor training database including input of training records, manage the contractor booking process for specific training courses, safety document management, input of various data, and creation of reports.


• Provide timely reports, specifically related to training and system auditing.
• Communication with contractors in regards to scheduling and utilizing training effectively.
• Support in development and maintenance of Contractor Database used to track and maintain training record.
• General support to Senior Safety Specialist and Construction Projects
• Attend department team meetings, as well attend safety meetings as requested
• Development of procedures or processes for the department on occasion
• Support internal incident reporting and investigation process.
• Support HSSE Management system
• Other general admin duties as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Administrative support experience in an Operational setting is preferred.
• Strong skills on computer systems and programs are required. Proficient with Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and social skills.
• Strong customer focus and service oriented.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively with a strong level of detail.
• Proactive, self-starter who requires minimum supervision.
• Background or training in HSSE would be an asset.
• Administrative training or background would be an asset.
• CSTS, D&A test

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Contractor Management methods and techniques.
