The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operator is currently seeking expertise for one of their onshore projects.

This position is only open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.

The Role:
Short Term Field Coach and Mentor Onshore Projects

The above described role requires a minimum of 10 years experience in HSSE related background, a Occupational Health and Safety Degree or equivalent education. a strong work ethic, the self motivation to accomplish required tasks. Able to multi-task and accomplish work under pressure and demonstrate exemplary communication and organizational skills. This individual must be knowledgeable of Shell safety management standards and expectations with a proven track record as a field level Coach and Mentor capable of developing a positive team atmosphere, leading by example and providing strong support to construction management. This person must be experienced in construction safety.

The individual selected for this role will be required to enter the project in the final stage of execution, gain a quick grasp of the culture and social dynamic’s, engage both the management and work force.

The field coach will be required to ensure that Client Safety management systems are understood an seen as the standard for the site. The field Coach will ensure that incident reporting and investigations meet Client expectations, and that a team atmosphere is established promoting good communications and transparency between Client Construction Management, HSSE-SP and Site Contractors. The Field Coach will provide learning and mentorship at all levels from the worker to the Client site superintendant and champion a one team philosophy. This individual must possess a strong understand of Client Hearts and Minds philosophy, an equally strong commitment to our Golden and Life Saving rules with a deep determination to see a Goal Zero result achieved at the project.
The successful candidate will report to the Client P&T Onshore Projects Field Coach, Mentorship and Development Lead.o ensure that Client Safety management systems are understood an seen as the standard for the site.
