Our client offers international marine services to the oil and gas industry, with a wide range of services from sub-sea construction and SURF solutions to accommodation hook-up and fabrication supported by a multi-cultural workforce of more than 2,400 persons.

The Role:
Safety Advisor Pipelay Vessel

Schedule:
This person will probably work in the Rotterdam office during one week in May, in order to get familiar with the project and to get to know the project team. Then, he/she will travel to Point Noir (Congo) halfway May, in order to get on the vessel, since the vessel will be mobilized there. The person will stay on the vessel during the pipelay phase, which is estimated to last until halfway July.

Role & Responsibilities:
• Direct assistance to the Project HSE Manager. Management of the human / environmental events:
• Incidents, accidents Project, follow-up of corrective and preventive actions for different packages Management of HSE indicators.
• Interface with the persons in charge in HSE of main subcontractors.
• Preparation and participation audits onshore / offshore environment / safety, closure of the actions (SYNERGI software).
• Contribution to the implementation of the EMS ISO 14001 in FPSO (waste management)
• Index card based on MSDS
• Project statistics realization, reporting, monthly report, training of offshore team members, control of various points on site in HSE (onshore, offshore)
• Procedures realization on different phases (construction, towing FPSO, beginning of production) project.
• Support in the activities project (Communication, elaboration of project documents).
• Realization order of environmental needs and safety (PPE)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
LANGUAGES:
• French: Maternal
• English: good

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
-Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree
-BOSIET certificate and relevant safety training - Basic Offshore Safety introduction and Emergency Response Training. Emergency Breathing System (NOGEPA-OPITO)
