The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Safety Consultant to join our client to assist in the delivery of Achieved SIL/Alarm/HF assignments within the Safety Solution Group and the development and support of TRAC and other software tools.

As a Safety Consultant you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Working either solo or within directed team delivering achieved SIL solutions
• Support of Tools (TRAC/TRAMS etc.)
• Safety Instrumented system assessments/ reviews
• Human Factors assessments and solutions
• Alarm Management assessments and solutions
• Delivery of internal and external facing training
• Preparation of Proposals & basic Contract management
• Identify opportunities to develop existing contracts or identify new opportunities within existing client base
• Participate in seminar programme
• Operate as a focal point for software toolset within existing safety team
• Work with wider company in delivery of integrated product solutions
• Interact directly with customer personnel at plant manager level

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• First Degree or Post Graduate qualification in related area (or working toward)
• Chartered engineer (or reasonable expectation of achieving within 2 years)
• Experience in Control systems with safety aspects and/or related discipline
• Able to work within team or solo on assignments
• Good written communication and report writing skills
• Willingness to travel for overseas or offshore assignments
• Good English language skills
• Good level of awareness of database software tools and techniques
• Commercial awareness, contributing to proposal preparation

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Member relevant technical body
