The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:

Provide assistance to Vehicle Safety Integration Team in support of project delivery milestones.
Responsible for ensuring crash car preparation and post-strip inspection activities are planned and conducted.
Arrange for the shipping of cars and parts to and from external Test Houses.
Procure parts and trimmed assemblies to support safety test activities working closely with various Manufacturing Departments and external suppliers to ensure parts are delivered to agreed dates.
Cross-functional liaison with other Engineering Departments in support of problem resolution.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Maximum of 5 relating to products, services etc.)

Provide support to ensure the successful delivery of the Engineering test & validation plans and sign off for vehicle safety systems.
Reporting of crash car preparation and strip issues back to Vehicle Safety Team.



Previous experience working in the automotive sector and vehicle knowledge is desirable.
Awareness of vehicle design and function is desirable.
Familiarisation with internal parts ordering and external Purchase Order process desirable but not essential.
Able to work effectively in a Functional team.
