The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Safety Engineering Coordinator responsible, under the responsibility of the HSE Manager, for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to the Project, for participating to the definition of the Project Safety Concept, for
defining all necessary Safety-related studies and having them performed, for ensuring consistency of Safety-related matters and objectives within Work packages, for promoting Safety attitude in the project and for providing to the HSE Manager and, as a general manner to all the Project team, advices with regard to all Safety matters.As such, the service holder shall, in compliance with Client and TEP Angola HSE policies, procedures and objectives, international standards and requirements, define and develop the construction Safety requirements and specifications of the project that will be part of the HSE Management System.
The service holder shall verify their implementation and compliance, specifically during the construction phase and shall monitor the EPC contractors’ Safety-related activities and to act as a focal point for coordination of Safety engineering activities. The service holder reports to the HSE Manager.

To define the Safety requirements for the project (Philosophy, plans or procedures), part of the HSE Management System (Safety Concept), based on Client and TEP Angola HSE policies, rules, procedures and objectives
2. To identify and manage all necessary Safety Engineering studies (performed by Client SA, TEP Angola or third
3. To keep track of changes related to Safety in regulations, standards, Company rules and inform the project on
their impact on the HSE management system
4. To monitor and record Safety Engineering activities of the project, and assist HSE Manager in presentations and
preparation of reports
5. To liaise with Package Managers and Safety Design Engineers with regard to Safety Engineering matters,
ensuring consistency of Safety Engineering throughout Work Packages
6. To organize/participate to site audits and visits with regard to Safety matters
7. To participate to the definition of Safety requirements to Contractors, review Contractors’ Safety-related
documentation and control their implementation by participating to audits of Contractors, specifically on
construction yards and on offshore site...
8. To collect and report Safety statistics, analyze performance versus objectives, analyze incidents, perform
investigations, organize feedback to management and personnel
9. To ensure that actions from reviews, audits, etc. (external / internal) are implemented and completed
10. To ensure adequate and timely reporting to the HSE Manager
11. To ensure confidentiality of all the Safety-related documentation produced (whatever its support)
12. To gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback to other Client E&P entities as required
