The Company:
Our Client oversees and manages all the operations associated with major LNG projects.

The Role:
Ensure construction activities are undertaken in accordance with project needs in general and compatible with project safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives in particular.

Provides safety & loss prevention information, support &mentorship to Operations personnel.

Assists with industrial hygiene surveys to identify & quantify occupational workplace stresses.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSc Degree in Science or Engineering or other appropriate Safety-related discipline is mandatory.

Master¡¦s Degree in relevant discipline is desirable.

Chartered membership of an internationally recognised safety body for safety professionals is highly desirable.

Knowledge of ISO 9000 Series Quality Management systems & concepts.

Keeps abreast of new developments, safe working practices, government regulations and relevant international codes of practice.

Participates in safety reviews as required. Includes Hazop, What - If, Cause & Effects reviews.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
8-10 years technical experience related to the oil and gas or chemical manufacturing industries, developing knowledge of both onshore and offshore safety.

Preferably a minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety & Loss Prevention Engineering or Equivalent.

8-10 years experience in Safety & Loss Prevention in the oil & gas sector.

Good written & oral communication skills in English.

Good knowledge of business software applications.

Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures & customs.
