The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
This position serves as Company field safety and health resource supporting the Company Capital Projects Organization projects. Project Scope for HSE support includes, but is not limited to:
•CompanyF1 Control Room,
•Company Pigging Modules
•CompanyF1 WIX,
•Pipeline Coatings projects,
•WLUG & Well tie-in projects,
•Fire and Gas upgrades

HSE (Note specific training requirements) NSTC6+ Company Site Specific training requirements


Specific responsibilities for this position include:
•Identify safety risks, issues and mitigation strategies & communicate to HSE & Capital Projects leadership;
•Monitor contractor compliance with regulatory and company safety expectations.
•Perform pre-construction hazard evaluations
•Review contractor Site Specific HSE Plans and Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s)
•Conduct or coordinate contractor pre-job safety orientation:
•Serve as technical safety resource providing guidance and assistance to the Capital Projects Organization consistent with HSE policies, procedures, directives and guidelines;
•Serve as the Company HSE representative during vacation and other coverage situations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
College Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (associates or greater), or professional certification (ASP, CSP, OSHT, CHST) with 6 months HSE experience, or 5 years of Safety & Health experience where 100% of the positions day to day responsibility is Safety & Health with completion of OSHA 500 or 501.
