The Role:
Mission
• The post holder will be an information focal point for the Project SHE Manager and proactively source, disseminate and manage key information on behalf of Project SHE Manager and SHE team, in order to ensure that project obligations are met
Activities
• Being proactive in sourcing of key information to the Project SHE Manager and SHE team to enable decisions to be made relating to ongoing project activities.
• Provide technical support to various project teams which may require an understanding and application of basic engineering principles.
• Develop and maintain SHE procedures and systems ensuring compliance with Company and/or industry standards and requirements.
• Collate data and prepare and issue technical reports in line with established reporting procedures.
• Develop spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, etc. of differing complexity, using a variety of standard and non-standard software packages.
• Develop and maintain complex databases, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and quality of data.
• Perform routine and complex analyses/investigations on technical data.
• Maintain manual and electronic document registers, drawings and other technical records and information.
• Undertake ad-hoc project assignments in support of technical teams, which may be inter-department/multi-disciplinary.
• Work independently on routine tasks, exercising discretion within established guidelines.
• Plan and prioritise work to meet personal and team objectives and timescales.
• Communicate and co-operate with other departments and external contacts and develop and maintain highly positive and constructive relationships with contacts.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Preferably qualified to ONC / HNC / HND level in a relevant Technical / Business discipline i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Geo-science, and/or Financial Accounting with a minimum Higher Standard or similar level qualification
• Should possess a minimum of 3 – 5 years experience working within a technical, engineering or data management environment, preferably within the oil and gas industry or similar industry
• Good written and oral communication, interpersonal skills are required along with a good common sense approach
• Strong prioritisation, time management and organisational skills
• Good standard of keyboard / typing skills are required and should have advanced skills in most standard office computer applications i.e. Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint) and specialist aspects such as intranet/extranet and web design
