The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Due to recent growth within the Low Voltage Drives Service business, My client is looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Strategist who will assist with their growth initiatives to help develop new service channels in markets that are not currently being worked in today and to manage and assist existing channels to grow revenues. Channel management, is a process by which a company creates formalized programs for selling and servicing customers within a specific channel and this can really impact a business in a positive way.

Key duties of the role include:

 Overall growth strategy accountability for each channel partner.
 Support the creation and implement the strategy towards the customer through a partner network, through understanding the customer, its business, its strategy and their industry. Ensuring this translates into a strategic service channel business action plan.
 Maximise the scope of the existing portfolio ensuring that appointed service channels comply with the agreed authorisation and product criteria desired by the organisation
 Plan and drive the overall growth of the service channel business volume by ensuring the whole lifecycle management portfolio is promoted and delivered as well as new business opportunities in new sectors in order to meet budget targets.
 Support the development of the Service strategy and create a framework that allows and fosters flexibility to perform effectively and deliver the authorised channel Service portfolio.
 Achieve the desired growth and profits in all of the key revenue streams
 Manage cooperation across the service channels and the internal Service business
 Identify and develop new service channels to drive business growth
 Agree and drive individual service channel business plans and targets in cooperation with Service sales engineers
 Undertake periodic audits of channel partners to an agreed program
 Ensure the designated portfolio of services are well understood and promoted by service channel partners
