The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Engineer to sell service products for the machines service business (Electrical Rotating Machinery). The successful candidate will be required to sell Medium Voltage service products to clients across a variety of sectors.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Planning and budgeting for sales growth
• Attending and contributing to sales planning and strategy meetings in the UK and overseas
• Understanding the principles of internal and external ordering of equipment and spare parts
• Meeting and exceeding target deadlines both financial and calls per month
• Selling replacement motors, Service and Maintenance packages for MV Motors
• Representing the service business through presentations, trade shows and customer events

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Detailed Knowledge of quotations and proposals
• Proven track record of field sales in an industrial product environment (drives, motors etc)
• Industrial electrical engineering and principles experience or qualification (HNC)
• Good sales planning and reporting skills (Forecasting, customer visit planning, prospects etc)
• Knowledge of machine / motor technology and applications

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of selling services as well as hardware products would be an advantage
