The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• The Sales Engineer is accountable for the order intake of the Business Unit Power Generation 2869 by,
• carrying out sales activities and identifying business opportunities,
• keeping in touch with existing customers and developing new customers and business in different segments,
• developing new market sectors and tailor ABB’s UK portfolio of services to meet those market needs,
• securing orders also by working together with different ABB Business Units and Divisions,
• working in collaboration with sales and proposal teams, Front-End-Sales and the Local Product Group Manager,
• supporting the Business Manager to plan and implement strategy to achieve Business Stream sales targets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of HNC in Electrical engineering or business related equivalent qualification

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Generation

• Knowledge of the Power Generation market with proven track record.

• Knowledge of Power Generation DCS and Instrumentation

• Knowledge of the Power Generation Sectors in the UK with a track record of generating valid sales leads.

• Detailed knowledge of Sales Techniques.

• Flexible approach to working (unsociable hours may be required)

• Working knowledge of financial and commercial procedures
