The Company:
Our client is a leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve their performance while lowering environmental impact.

The Role:
As the Key Sales Engineer, of the Power Products and Power Systems Divisions you will engage with, map, assist and influence the consultants within the designated region of NSW.

You will be responsible for the active marketing and sales work with emphasis on Design Specifications through all the key Design Consultants in NSW.

• Identify all design consultants in NSW
• Engage and Map each consultant firm, identifying key players
• Provide early warning of projects and opportunities, back to the State Manager and Sales Team
• Provide Hand-Over information to the Sales Team, so they are positioned to continue with the pursuit (Consultant, End User, Likely Contractors, Competitors, Influencers etc)
• Coordinate with the Sales Team to target the End User & Contractors
• Conduct learning sessions with the design consultants
• Facilitate introductions & meetings between the consultants and BU product specialists
• Update PP National Pipeline and Prosales for own opportunities and projects
• Maintain CCP for own opportunities and projects
• Provide regular detailed updates back to the State Manager and BU Market Managers, of all opportunities and projects handled by consultants in NSW
• Provide (with coordination with Sales person) detailed Won/Lost analysis, back to the State Manager and BU Market Managers

Key to this role, is your ability to influence the engineered design, through the consultants, towards a Company solution, so as to better place the Company and the Sales team, at tender release and decision stage.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience sales and marketing, in related field
• Possess a Team player attitude with strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to formulate and implement strategy
• Ability to work under pressure and to committed deadlines
• Ability to professionally communicate with people of all levels (Written and Verbal English)
