The Company:
Our client is a dynamic global manufacturing organisation that supplies a vast range of high performance fluid sealing products and associated knowledge-based services to virtually every sector of industry. Our activities range from research and development, product application, manufacture and supply, to plant monitoring, on-site maintenance and seal refurbishment.

The Role:
To be responsible for generating profitable revenue from the sale of products within a designated area or customer base, to establish customer specific Sales Plans which reflect the requirements of the Industry Sales Plan and the revenue/profit margins required by the business.

To develop and put into practice, sales actions and tactics which are relevant to the Industry Sales Plans.
To liaise with the technical team on technical and engineering applications.
To contribute to the fulfilment of sales goals, revenue growth, customer satisfaction and retention.
To maintain a high degree of competency in line with the company standards document.
To establish, in conjunction with the Industry Manager a clear and concise reporting system, which coupled with activity planning, will ensure a disciplined approach to sales generation.
To visit and maintain close contact and to manage relationships with customers who contribute to the company’s sales revenue and profitability.
To establish and maintain an effective partner relationship between you, Field Sales Colleagues and the corresponding Customer Support Centre team members.
To establish and maintain effective sales forecasting methods for your customers, ensuring forecasts are constantly updated and are available on demand.
To assist the Industry Manager in developing strong links with technology and marketing disciplines, to become a two-way conduit for new business opportunities and sales growth.
To provide the Marketing Team with information relating to the marketplaces reaction to the company’s decisions on policy and to recommend any necessary action.
To work with the Industry Manager to identify and measure key market segments and key accounts.
To prepare monthly and quarterly activity reports.
To review sales performance with the Industry Manager and members of the Field Sales Team on a monthly basis.
To develop and maintain strong links with Product and Services Industry Marketing Teams.
To contribute and participate in the Global Product and Services Industry Business Development Strategy.

GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English and Sciences (Grade C or above)
HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering

Ability to overcome objections
