The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• Lead all sales activities for Electrical systems within the Oil and Gas business, developing and implementing the agreed strategy to meet the market opportunities for the growth of the business.


• As a member of the OGP Electrical Systems Product group, represent the sales function ,generate leads and achieve the sales targets set for that year
• Ensure that significant but realistic growth targets are set and delivered against across the various markets open to the business. Circa £20M
• Assist with the setting of the annual budgets and provide accurate input to forecasts
• Develop a funnel / pipeline of consistent and realistic pursuit lists for the present year and upcoming next 2 years
• Regularly update internal sales tools –for eg. Prosales and participate in sales review meetings
• Effectively develop profitable long-term relationships within key end users
• Continuously and constructively engage with the end customers and EPCs , very early and follow up sales pursuits / leads within the allocated markets. (North Sea, Azerbaijan, Australia)
• Set and implement a clear structure / plan for major Project Pursuits in discussion with management team and account management team
• Take a leading role in the capture team for major international project orders
• Interact closely with the sales support team while delivering bids against RFQs.
• Engage in internal Risk Reviews and support in implementing mitigation plans during sales stage.
• Negotiating contracts with customers and closing deals with support from various teams
• Keep updates with the developments in the market, especially Oil and Gas Industry
• Engage closely with OGP marketing team to promote the brand in Electrical products /system delivery in OGP market
• Ensure that the company standards with regards to compliance and health and safety are met.
• Manage the NPS process following up on market feedback.
• Ensure that the challenges of the market are understood across the wider management team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• An exceptional sales professional with a sound knowledge for the oil and gas business both globally and in the UK.
• Sales knowledge of Electrical systems and products is essential
• Can demonstrate the ability to successfully lead major pursuit capture teams.
• An open communicator with developed team working skills
• Knowledge of a broad range of the oil and gas Industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• A good understanding of wide range of technology, especially electrical products and their relevance to the oil and gas market.
