The Role:
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Day to day management of commercial & programme activities

SCOPE OF THE POSITION
Working with internal & external customers and departments to support sales activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
 Drive and increase trim business.
 Build up reliable customer relationship with BU or External customer at decider level.
 Identify & manage new business opportunities
 Manage Sales Account with P&L responsibility
 Negotiate series projects and contracts with customer on Senior Management level.
 Manage negotiation and closure of commercial issues.
 Improve programme profitability (margin improvement)
 Negotiate Engineering change requests
 Maintain internal reporting (Plant improvement plans, growth plans, APR’s, LPMP, etc.)
 Support PAR approval’s.
 Generate and manage programme timing plans and present to BU or external customer
 Report out programme commercial status to senior level Trim MGR’s
 Create strong link between trim plant and BU/external customer
 Support excess management

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills
Required
• Ability to work with MS PowerPoint, Word, Project, Excel
• Automotive experience
• Proven record of Sales/Commercial negotiation
• Experience in Project Work

Preferred
• Seating experience (in Commercial, Programme Management or Engineering capacity)


Qualifications
Preferred
• Degree qualification in engineering/business studies
