The Company:
Our Client is a global business with a presence in more than 50 countries. Operating within the Energy Sector, they are a supplier of Rotating Equipment and Upstream equipment with a Global Network of offices with over 200 location, the largest in the Industry with manufacturing sites in over 10 countries.

Customers in the energy services sector include production, transmission & storage, refining, power generation and petrochemical clients.

The Role:
Based in Seoul, Korea, our client is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team.

Reporting to the Director of Sales Korea, the Sales Manager manages all sales activity for a product portfolio within an assigned region through a direct reporting sales team. This includes the setting of success criteria, providing leadership for achievement of goals for the sales team, forecasting, analyzing and reporting on sales, implementing policies, and maintaining budget.

In addition, the role will be responsible for the direction of Sales Personnel within the region and working with colleagues in other departments to maximise Sales activities. The successful candidate will act as liaison between senior leadership and field to ensure effective two-way communication that will drive results. Establishes, defines and manages to a clear strategic direction and goal attainment targets for the sales team.

Job Duties:
Direct responsibility for direct, first line management of sales team, including recruitment, selection, training and development, coaching and feedback, and performance management.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in the region.
Act as an Ambassador of professional standards.
Sets a standard of ethical and HSE excellence.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers for consistency and retention.
Increases credibility and brand awareness of the Company in the marketplace.
Acts as face to industry groups (VVMA, ESA).
Prior consistent experience / track record in meeting targets and delivering results.
 

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum eight years of relevant sales, contract or project management experience
Degree educated in a technical discipline (Chemical Eng or Mechanical Eng)
Proved experience in International Projects / Eng OEMs management together with a rotating equipment experience.
In-depth understanding of Oil and Gas / Petrochemical business.
Excellent team skills and the ability to achieve goals & objectives through skillful influence
Excellent communication & presentation skills, both verbal and written
Commercially very astute with good understanding of finance
Full availability for extensive traveling
Good knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including MS Project
Fluent in Korean and English
