The Company:
You will be involved in the managing and developing of key accounts with major contractors, major end users, engineering consultants, design houses, supply houses, distributors and resellers. You will also work closely with Internal Sales personnel to help the conversion of Sales and Repair Opportunities.

The Role:

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards & work instructions.
• Develop customer base within the area, specifically targeting engineering contractors.
• Set sales conversion targets for your area.
• Attain & exceed sales conversion targets through increased market share.
• Establish relationships within strategic customers in the respective area of responsibility & become the focal point between operations & the customer.
• Utilise, build & maintain call plans, account summaries, relationship map, solution summaries & other sales best practices tools on the various strategic accounts within the area of responsibility.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings with the Technical Sales Director to ensure clarity around goals, issues & opportunities.
• Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The individual will have 10 years’ sales experience in the valve and actuator market ideally at a minimum been qualified to HNC/HND level in Mechanical Engineering (or similar related technical discipline). The individual should ideally be able to show the following skills and behaviours:

• Proven high-level sales, sales management & marketing skills.
• Broad technical knowledge of valves & service offerings.
• Good understanding of the oil & gas business.
• Excellent communication both oral & written.
