We are currently seeking an experienced Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) Sales Manager to join the Chemicals Business Coordination & Support Department.

Position Description:-
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the MMA sales globally. This position is accountable for the topline revenues, and growth targets for this product. This includes a key role in establishing specific details of the sales strategy, and responsibility for the implementation of this strategy. The Sales Manager will be responsible for designing, creating and managing the sales policies, and processes to run the sales activities for the MMA business. The candidate is responsible for running the business profitably and effectively at an operational level. You will report to the Marketing & Sales Director (Specialty Polymers & Intermediates). The position requires close internal coordination with Chartering and Back Office Departments. This will require external coordination with Customers, Distributors, and stakeholders who have an impact on the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:-
The successful candidate will develop and finalize an annual Business Plan, and cascade it to operational KPIs. You will oversee operational management to ensure that business targets are met. Actively look to improve margins, expand the business, and seek new opportunities. Work collaboratively with other functions like Supply Chain to come up with practical solutions to address customer requirements, and demands. Possess an excellent understanding of the global, and regional MMA markets with a focus on marketing, and sales, but a good overall understanding of other functional areas, especially shipping logistics, storage, testing, coordination/planning/forecasting, technical support, and customer service. Experience in other related end-use areas like Polymethyl MethAcrylate (pMMA), and coatings is advantageous.

Previous experience in coordinating with Shipping logistics, Planning & Coordination, and other external partners to ensure successful order execution is essential. Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities to oversee the MMA sales organization is important. The ability to think beyond the day-to-day operational boundaries, to recognize and plan for the long-term strategic opportunities and threats to the business is critical to this role. The ability to work in, and manage within matrix organizations is important for this role. You must be comfortable in dealing with different cultural practices while doing business. Prior experience in dealing with Asian markets is preferable. Candidates must have the ability to deal with difficult customers, and internal or external parties to achieve business goals. Display the ability to be firm but diplomatic in difficult circumstances with both external and internal parties. Excellent written, spoken and presentation related communication skills. Ability to represent the MMA business externally in a leadership position.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA is preferred.

Candidates will need to possess a minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in the MMA business with at least 5 years in a regional sales responsibility role. A good understanding of the end markets from an end-use and, competitive perspective in different target geographical areas is a must
