The Role:
Due to continued expansion and successful sales growth in a range of sectors, we are seeking to expand our international sales team into the Middle East Oil & Gas market and recruit an experienced Business Development Manager.

Your role

Reporting to the Sales Director, the focus of the role will be to develop sales in the Middle East Oil and Gas marketplace and to further increase sales through the development of established and new customers in existing market sectors, supporting the Sales Director’s drive for growth and market presence.

• Produce detailed action plans and devise strategies
• Implement agreed sales practices to maximise profitability, efficiency and quality
• To target and visit the ”right” customers, find develop and grow new customers
• Become the sales specialist in the Oil and Gas marketplace
• Challenge status quo & champion culture of continuous improvement
• Build outstanding strategic relationships with top customers & prospects
• Fully understand the products/services and be able to educate/train customers
• Facilitate culture of high standards and attention to detail, with clear accountabilities, ownership, teamwork and personal learning

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Oil & Gas experience
• Middle East experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Switchgear product experience
