The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• To support the Divisional Manager to plan and implement strategy to achieve Business Stream sales targets.
• To carry out sales activities and identify business opportunities.
• To develop new market sectors and tailor the portfolio of services to meet those market needs.

• To develop and maintain key customer relationships.

• To assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns

• Deliver sales in line with budget.

• Management and reporting of Pro-Sales (pipeline tool)

• Focus on new sales opportunities in strategic markets to achieve business growth targets.

• To ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures and Accountancy Policies.

• To help develop the Business Customer service strategy and deliver high levels of customer service.

• To assist the tendering team with the preparation of tenders / Pre qualifications etc.

• To seek and communicate customer feedback back into the Distribution Service business.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of HNC in Electrical engineering or business related equivalent qualification

• Knowledge of the Distribution market with proven track record.

• Knowledge of the ESI industry and Industrial Sectors in the UK with a track record of generating valid sales leads.

• Established network / client base in UK Power distribution.

• Detailed knowledge of Sales Techniques.

• Flexible approach to working (unsociable hours may be required)

• Working knowledge of financial and commercial procedures

• Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Standard Applications

• Working knowledge of commercial aspects of projects including contract law and management of risk.
