The Company:
Our client specialises in competitive load instrumentation and has a long established history providing load measurement and monitoring solutions to many industries world-wide. At the Aberdeen facility, they have a highly skilled team who provide technical / design support, manufacturing, hire, repairs, testing and calibration on both our equipment and third party products.

The Role:
As part of the continued expansion of, our client requires a sales office manager. Reporting directly to the sales director you will work within the sales department to ensure the business development strategy is being adopted throughout the business. This is as multifunctional role that requires a highly organised individual with good communication skills. Understanding customers’ needs is as important as the ability to be able to identify internal opportunities for improvement in business processes whilst striving towards meeting and exceeding the company’s monthly targets.

• To manage a small team of sales engineers in the Oil and Gas Lifting Sector, ensuring all enquiries and quotations are submitted on time, duly followed up and order processed in a timely efficient way
• Negotiation of client Terms and Conditions
• Integration with the production department to ensure on time delivery and good client communication
• Must have a proactive approach to maintaining and growing the client customer base
• An organised approach to daily business requirements is essential
• Ensure stock levels are correctly maintained to meet client demands
• To provide monthly comprehensive reports to the senior management team
• Monitor all sales activity for capital, hires and repair enquiries / quotation and orders
• Prepare quotes and provide administrative support to the sales department where required
• Ensure the CRM database is maintained and fully up to date
• Ensure the system for follow up quotations is adhered to, monitored and reported on
• Communicate with customers to ascertain full requirements
• Communicate with customers to monitor after sales service levels
• Work with the marketing department to assist in marketing activities
• Monitor sales orders and delivery schedules
• Assist in specific sales projects by region, product or department
• Maintaining good communications across the business at all levels
