The Role:
The main purpose of the job is to provide an efficient and effective service to all customers. Processing sales orders in line with company ‘best practice’, providing assistance to customers as required and to maintain excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchase orders ensuring that any discounts and special conditions are applied correctly. Highlighting any pricing issues before confirming to customer.
• To manage the orders through to delivery keeping customer duly informed and ensuring internal processes are adhered to.
• Provide point of contact for customer enquiries, dealing with them through to a successful outcome in a timely and professional manner. Any costings should always be confirmed in writing.
• Provide assistance to customers should an incident occur, seeking guidance in line with company policies
• Process customer refunds, seeking guidance where necessary
• To demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working
• Comply with relevant company policies.
• To support other departments in the organisation by supplying information as required. Leadtimes, pricing etc.
• To manage time in an effective and efficient manner to ensure the profitability of the business.
• To be fully familiar with and utilize the companies SAP system, and to work within the ISO9001 standard.
• To attend training as required to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
• To adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
