The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
 Ensure ethical behaviour in line with code of conduct.
 Manage the environmental risks associated with the business unit.
 Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of Standard Applications.
 Awareness of general Health & Safety Rules.
 Working knowledge of commercial aspects of projects including contract law and management of risk.
 Excellent Communication skills
 Good organisational skills
 Ability to delegate effectively and organise workloads fairly and appropriately
 Conversant with the creation of Tender documentation.
 Planning and time management skills
 Knowledge of commercial law and terms and conditions

 Working in line with group directives and policies.
 Integrate with the wider business units as appropriate/required.
 Manage the environmental risks associated with the business unit.
 To ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures and Accountancy Policies.
Customer values
 Develop/Increase targeted client base including End users, Consultants, and M & E Contractors within the designated area.
 Manage the product portfolio, pricing and margins to ensure that customer targets are met
 Work with customers to develop a design/solution to meet customer requirements utilizing products from the company portfolio.
 Liaise closely with the company’s internal sales engineers and customers on both technical and commercial issues that arise as part of the tender development process
 Interact and manage key and new customers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential
 A working knowledge of electrical motor control/LV distribution switchgear and the ability to interpret schematic/wiring drawings and detailed specifications is required.
 A working knowledge within the Process Sector dealing with MCC/Swbds within the oil and gas industry, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, water treatment, retail & leisure buildings, education authorities and hospitals.
 Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines appropriate to the job

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of ‘intelligent’ systems (PLC Controls, DCS systems, communication protocols, etc)
• Knowledge of basic commercial law/terms and conditions would also be an advantage
